Back in Mai I was invited by Babyliss to test and shoot some of their products in Berlin.
As you might have notice I have curly hair that I straighten after almost all shampoo. I am a user of Babyliss since a while. I showed you how I use their products to straighten my hair in a previous article.
Both products are made to straighten hair and you will see below the difference between the two.
Straightening my hair with Babyliss Iconic brush
I first straightened my hair with the Babyliss Iconi brush. Unlike a brush but more like a straightener, you take one hair strand at a time. The hair needs to be dry before you start. You then start from the roots and glide the heated brush towards the ends of the hair. The hair strand does not need to be too small so you have a quick result.
I like the end effect as my hair are straight but with volume.
Straightening my hair with Babyliss Pure steam ST495E
The Babyliss Pure steam is to use like every other straightener. It goes up to 230degree high heat. Thanks to the i-Temperature Technology, the heating system ensures constant high heat.
It is perfect to create the perfect sleek look as you can see below, but also to create waves.
I was very surprised to see how well the iconic brush straightened my hair. It is not as perfect as with the straightener though but it is perfect if you need to be quick or if you need to do some correction in between two shampoos.
