When in Paris last week, I booked the 1K Paris, a boutique hotel with a cool bar via Sheradill, a website that allows you to save on your hotel booking thanks to social media. The concept is : the more the user shares, the more the price of the hotel stay goes down. Such a cool idea. The hotels you can book are all part of the HIP Hotels collection and therefore it is a selection of very cool and young hotels. I already stayed at one of their hotel before, the newly opened Grand Hotel Pigalle.

1K Paris is a cool hotel in the centre of Paris, in the 3rd arrondissement in the Marais and close to République. It is very well situated there are many cool restaurants, bars and my favourite Paris market : “le marché des enfants rouges”, just around the corner.
Anyway, from there you can go by walk almost everywhere and if you don’t feel like walking, there is a subway station at 2 minutes walk.

1K Paris, is is a young and trendy hotel that has for theme the south american country Peru : Inca’s masks, deep blue colors, gold motives… are part of the decoration and relate to the Incas culture. A little bit of exotism in the middle of Paris. They even have an iguana in a huge terrarium in the lobby, no need to tell you that this is the hotel’s biggest attraction.

We slept in a deluxe room that was quite simple but beautiful. If you want to treat yourself something more fancy, you can still the room with private pool on the roof 😉

For evenings, they also have two very cool bar, the 1K Paris Pisco Bar that is also a restaurant serving peruvian food, one of the trendiest food in the world right now. and the Mezcaleria that is a hidden bar, where you can drink Mezcal mixed in modern and inventive cocktails.
