A weekend in Brandenburg at Precise Resort Bad Saarow

A weekend in Brandenburg at Precise Resort Bad Saarow

At least once every summer, I like to go for a weekend in Brandenburg. I heard through the grapevine that a new resort had opened on Scharmützelsee : Precise Resort Bad Saarow.

Precise Resort Bad Saarow

The brand new Precise Resort Bad Saarow is only one hour away from Berlin on Scharmützelsee, the second biggest lake in Brandenburg. It is the latest opening of the Precise Hotels & Resorts that I already know since I stayed at the Precise Resort Marina Wolfsbruch, also in Brandenburg 3 years ago. The resort is on the old ground of an A – Rosa hotel, which already, speaks for itself.

Let’s explore together!

Our family room at Precise Resort Bad Saarow

We stayed in a family room with a view over the pool and Scharmützelsee. The room was definitely big enough for our baby to crawl around with a double bed, a baby crib, and sofa.  I saw that many rooms have a little balcony which we didn’t had. That would have been the only downside of our room but you don’t come to this resort to stay on the balcony anyways.

An active weekend in Brandenburg at the Precise Resort Bad Saarow

Not everyone like to relax for a full weekend. If that is the case, you will be happy to know that the resort offers yoga classes and has a well equiped fitness room. They even have Peloton bikes, which concept is that you train alone but you have a class with some of the best trainers in the world a your connected device.

For outdoor activities, the resort has  3 golf courses with 18, and 9 holes, the possibility to rent bikes to cycle the area and why not around the Scharmützelsee.

Water lovers will love the fact that the resort work together with the marina just next to the hotel where you can book courses or rent a boat or a paddle an enjoy the peacefulness of the lake.

Spa at the Precise Resort Bad Saarow

I always love a good spa, especially in the fall and winter and the spa at Precise Resort Bad Saarow will definitely have me back.

The outdoor pool was broken during our stay so we decided to swim into the heated pool with our daughter and relax in the spa. The temptation was too good to not enjoy the other facilities of the spa as well. You will find different sauna, a steam bath, an ice fountain and kneipp pool as well as of course some spa treatments.

You can access the spa with a day pass. It is not necessary to stay in the hotel.

The facilities at the resort definitely can compete with the Saarow Therme in the town.

Summer at the Precise Resort Bad Saarow

If like us, you happen to go to the Precise Resort Bad Saarow in summer, you will be lucky to enjoy the outdoor pool. We didn’t as it was broken while we were there but it looks fabulous. As well as the private beach by the Scharmützelsee. Definitely the place to be if you have kids as they love to jump from the footbridge!

It is also definitely a great place for family pictures as you can see!

Culinary offer at the Precise Resort Bad Saarow

While at the resort we were booked in half board so that we could enjoy breakfast and dinner at the resort. Both meals are served on a buffet basis. I am not a fan of buffet but there were quite nice options. I especially enjoyed the grill station were you have every night another fresh meat of fish grilled for you.

If you prefer à la carte, there is also the restaurant of the golf “Greenside”that serves food all day.

Fazit Precise Resort Bad Saarow

I can definitely recommend the Precise Resort Bad Saarow if you are looking for a weekend in Brandenburg. You will definitely be able to relax or actively enjoy the surrounding nature of the resort. It is both suitable for couples as for families with kids. There is indeed a kids club that offers indoor and outdoor activities. Maya was too young to put her in the kids club though.

We were there in summer so it was quite busy but still not crowded as there is enough space around the resort for everyone. Also we were there recently after the opening so that there are definitely things to improve but I am sure the resort is working on it already!
