Review : The Poli House Tel Aviv

Today I am sharing with you a review of The Poli House Tel Aviv, a design hotel decorated by Karim Rashid.

Where to Sleep in Tel Aviv – The Poli House Tel Aviv – A design hotel with a rooftop pool

While in Tel Aviv I was looking for an hotel with a pool. Indeed, the weather was not warm enough (I was there in November) to go to the beach but it was warm enough to lay by the hotel pool. I found it quite difficult to find a nice hotel with a pool but one of the option was The Poli House that has a rooftop pool.

The Poli House Tel Aviv is a very cool design hotel. It is located in one of the famous bauhaus style building in the center of Tel Aviv. Also it is very close to one of the most famous market in Tel Aviv, the Carmel Market.

Not only the outside of the building is an eye-catcher, the inside is very cool as well. The ground floor is a gallery with design furniture and artworks by Tel Aviv based artist. From the ground floor you take the lift to the 7th floor to find the lobby.

On every floor there are some design details, neon lights sculptures, design chairs etc.

While some design hotels are a tourist trap I can truly recommend The Poli House Tel Aviv for people who appreciate comfort and a great service.

Indeed, the room are small but very comfortable and modern and the bathroom is filled with products you would find in the luxurious hotels. Some room from the upper category even have a balcony with a view on the bustling city. The staff, was always very helpful, always asking is everything was fine and helped us book some tours for Tel Aviv and it’s surroundings.

The Poli House is not only an expert in welcoming guest, it is also an expert in drinks. In your room awaits you a bottle of Arak that is a traditional alcoholic beverage in Israel, that is to mix with what you have in your mini bar. Of course, recipes are also provided. If you don’t feel like mixing your own drink, the Poli House also has got a bar on the roof next to the pool. Locals also go there to admire the 360 degrees view and taste the cocktails created by some of the best mixologist.

For food, the hotel does not offer food but breakfast is provided by the organic café next door : Loveat. For lunch and dinner, there are plenty of restaurant in the area.
