Tomorrow I will be on a cruise through the Greek Island, so it is time to ask myself, what to pack on a cruise.
First thing you should think of is your passport of course, you don’t want to loose it or to damage it so a passport holder is perfect. It protects your passport from humidity and all otther things and it also allows you to tidy your travel documents. All at the same place!! You will save here a lot of stress for yourself.
A ship is also generally quite big. Even though you will probably receive some travel tags, it is nice to have some of your own that you can put on your luggage over and over again while traveling. A leather travel tag is perfect here as it is ribust and will last you longer.
Now about the clothes. I will be on board of the Europa2, that is quite a nice boat. So you don’t want to be overdressed or underdressed.
You should not be wearing the most expensive clothes but you will want to be at ease and elegant when needed. For the day, either on board or on a day trip it is great to have comfortable clothes. A long airy dress is perfect on board to wear over your bathing suit but also comfortable enough to wander the streets while on a day trip.
An elegant beach bag is also perfect to carry around. You can put towels, money, etc inside. It is big enough and very convenient.
In the evening you will want to wear more elegant clothes for dinner in one of the restaurant or bars onboard. With a black dress you can’t go wrong. It is even so chic that you can wear it with flats which is more convenient if the boat is moving a lot.
Finally, while the boat will be going from A to B, you will want to distract yourself. What is better than an audiobook that you can listen before going to bed or while getting a tan at the pool!
Above you will find visual inspiration on what to bring with you.
