If you followed me on Instagram you probably saw that I spent the weekend in Greece for the Olympus PEN E-PL8 launch at Nikki Beach Porto Heli. Under the hashtag #penpartygreece, influencers from all over Europe flew to Greece to test the brand new Olympus PEN E-PL8 camera.
The event took place in Greece in the Nikki Beach Porto Heli hotel. Indeed, Nikki beach is famous for it’s luxurious lifestyle and the hotel with its beautiful room and trendy interior was the perfect place to shoot around the ground and test the Olympus PEN E-PL8 (All pictures below were taken with the Olympus PEN E-PL8).
I am already a user of the Olympus PEN E-PL7 since around 2 years and I am super happy with the camera. It is super light and the quality of the pictures is amazing.
I was super excited to hold in my hand the Olympus PEN E-PL8 and to test its new features like the selfie recognition mode and the Movie-Clip-Funktion that I loved. It allows you to create shot movies directly on the camera. I need to do a few more test before sharing one of my creation it with you on Instagram soon. I will post a full review of the camera very soon.
Beside testing the new camera we took some workshops to learn how to get the most out of our new camera and we discovered some new products. As you might know Olympus designed for for all fashion lovers camera accessories for the Olympus PEN. Beside the leather camera bags, lens pouches, shoulder straps and camera clutches, that I already presented you on the blog, we discovered some new accessories like the suede bucket camera bag and camera case that you can see below.
