Today’s article is to share with you my experience with the Twisted collection by Sebastian professional, a hair care range made especially for curly and wavy hair.

While in the winter I wear my hair straight most of the time, in summer I generally wear my hair naturally curly. The reason is as simple as since it is hot outside, I do sweat more and there is more humidity so it makes no sense to straighten my hair as they would frizz too soon after. Also at the beach, I just love the curls the sea air creates.

The problem I encounter is when there is no air though. That way my hair dry but they end up looking like a wad of cotton.

I don’t mind my curly hair but a bit of definition is necessary! Recently I met with the people of Sebastian professional and I told them my problem. They told me to try their new product range, the Twisted styling and care line. I tried since then a few times at home. It is a series composed of many products but I mostly use the Twisted elastic cleanser curl shampoo + Twisted elastic detangler curl conditioner or Twisted elastic treatment curl mask and for the styling the Twisted curl magnifier curl cream or Twisted curl lifter foam.

All products are made out of a red seaweed extract. Red seaweed is already a big thing in skincare and it has the same beneficial effects of hair aka moisturizing. It is therefore perfect for curly hair as the biggest problem of curly hair is a lack of moisturizing. In case there is not so much wind and a lot of humidity, I would use the Twisted curl lifter foam on humid hair so it helps define curls and won’t dry like a wad of cotton 😉 #curlpower

If there is more wind, aka the curls will form nicely by themselves, I will just put the Twisted curl magnifier curl cream on my hair as a moisturizer.
For example, it is the perfect product when at the beach. Indeed, sun and sea are quite bad for the hair so you will want to protect them.
